By the way, all of this gives me confidence that the stock is going into the 20s quite soon. I don't think the company will stop buying back until then. (If i am right that this deal was structured on a conversion price of about 34) I think that the brokers want the stock to go up so that the deal doesn't look so bad to the people they sold it to and I think that the company"s story is basically unchanged, albeit the guidance is "towards the lower end of a range of 30-40% top and bottom line growth. The PE on forward earnings was way out of line at 9 or 10 and will continue way out of line IMHO until it gets back to at least 25. While that's happening, I think that at least one analyst who downgraded from "strong buy" to "buy" will have an epihony(sp?) and return the rating to what it should have been all along ie no change. IMO, the analysts are paid to keep their eyes on the road ahead and not to create the impression that every pothole will be a disabling event.
