<Gilder Technology Report> Now don't hang me for presenting this hype, but in todays mail was a Steve Forbes endorsed flyer promoting the Gilder Technoldgy Report. Futurist Gilder says "fortunes made on the new bandwidth technology will dwarf past profits from the $400 billion personal computer market!" If you subscribe to his newsletter ($295/yr.) , "you'll learn why the IDSL technology develped by privately held TUT Systems will win out over ISDN developed by Ascend and the major telcos." So I looked around TUT at tutsys.com Type ADSL in their search engines and learn why they think they're better. I noticed several chinks in TUTs armor. They're already late to market, they're being financed by AT & T and they're from Berkeley. It rings of rather immature hustlilng but the publicity probably won't hurt VDSL. Care to take a poke at em Pat? Chow, Steve
