I agree with all of what you said about a fledgling industry. I agree that the best corporations will be the survivors. I believe that there is lots of money to be made in this field.
What I fail to understand is what makes you believe that Camelot is even in the race at all!
It is easy to document all of the failures. The financial disaster is a matter of public record. The track record of being late to market with inferior products is glaringly obvious (just look at sales figures). Perhaps H323 will not be a determinig factor in long term success (how did we get off on that tangent anyway) but having a decent product and an organization that can keep up with the competition must be considered a prerequisite (Camelot's record indicates that this is not true of them). So please, oh PLEASE, I beseech you, explain to me why it is that you LIKE Camelot!!
I repeatedly ask for explanations about your views, but somehow I never seem to get any direct replies. I am very dissapointed. I really do want to understand!!
I know that LIKE and HOPE are some of those emotionally charged words that you seem to prefer, but there just has to be some basis in hard, rational, documentable facts for your emotional bent.
Please try to explain this to me in terms that I can understand.
Please note that this is not intended to be a nit-picking of your strategy. Rather it is a sincere request for help in coming to grips with an attitude about Camelot that, though trying hard, I cannot even begin to understand!! |
