I don't understand the issue of Intel paying royalties to CPQ, HWP & IBM for the new architecture unless Intel plans to use it in additional products which they will sell into the marketplace. Wouldn't Intel then have the ability to sell these products to customers such as Dell in the same manner they sell microprocessors and motherboards?
