AquaPro Selected as One of 80 Worldwide to Participate in Discovery Expo '98, October 20, in New York City
Business Wire - October 20, 1998 08:29
Discovery Expo Fall

HERMITAGE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 20, 1998--AquaPro Corp. (OTCBB:AQRO) will be among 80 of the top growth companies in the world to gather October 20 at Discovery Expo '98 to meet 1,000 Wall Street movers and shakers at the New York Hilton and Towers.

This sixth in a unique series of Discovery Expos is organized by The Investment Reporter, a Newport Beach, Calif.-based financial newspaper, to bring together undiscovered companies with high-profile growth fund managers, analysts, stockbrokers and sophisticated investors in a one-day event.

These key players will have a chance to become acquainted with the products, top executives and future outlook of participating NASDAQ- and OTC Bulletin Board-listed firms whose stock represents opportunities for appreciation.

"When you're a mid-cap or small-cap company you tend to fall off the financial radar screen no matter how well you're doing financially," said John G. Robbins, publisher of The Investment Reporter. "The financial world needs to find growing companies whose shares have further upside potential and these companies want to be discovered. Discovery Expo '98 is a convenient way for them to find each other."

AquaPro Corp. is the first publicly traded, growth-oriented catfish aquaculture company in the United States, with 1,700 shareholders owning 4.8 million stock shares. AquaPro engages in the business of owning and managing catfish farms in the Delta region of Mississippi. The corporate office is in Hermitage, Tenn. AquaPro currently owns and operates more than 2,000 acres producing slightly more than 1 percent of the entire U.S. production and is among the top ten catfish farming operations.

"Except for our shareholders and a select group of the broker/dealer community, few people know of AquaPro and its goals which includes 'Helping Nature Feed the World'," said George Hastings, president and CEO of AquaPro Corp. "Aquaculture is the fastest growing segment of agriculture, yet there are few ways available for investors to become involved. AquaPro is very pleased to participate in Discovery Expo '98 and we look forward to representing our investors and industry by telling our story to the financial world."
