Michelle,

Yes I am quite bullish on DELL especially at the current price.
The fury of the attack against DELL is now spent. We now get a chance to view the performances of the competition in a more objective light. It should be worth 30 % this quarter on a straight play.

The attack against DELL was way overdone. If you look at their performance over the last two quarters, they are within 2% of the same two quarters a year ago. Thus, they are maintaining their consistency of execution despite their enormous growth rate and size.

I think these technical issues raised by Dog are largely a red herring.
They have the effect of increasing the FUD factor on DELL.
The growth issues are also a red herring. CPQ direct effort is likely to hurt it as much as help it in the coming quarters. DELL's transition to the mid range servers seems to be going extremely well.

I am not ready yet to bet against this A+ student just because the playground bully, CPQ( the C student), says that it is going to beat it up. After all they have been trying to do exactly that for years without success.

It is actually humorous to see CPQ earn a few pennies per share on its stock for the first time this year and then claim it is going to bury DELL. The market is overreacting to a FUD factor created by CPQ.

If you think that DELL may go lower , you might want to consider dollar cost averaging into it over the next 40 days.

Regards,

Jim Kelley
