>>thestreet.com mentions IOM - says if it doesn't develop new products the future price range may be limited to $8-$12 .<<

You know, everyone- the Bears like me, TheStreet.com, Barrons, Herb Greenberg, EVERYONE has been giving Iomega Management a surefire product marketing strategy on a silver platter. We have said time and time again that Iomega needs to get into CD and DVD, and join with the industry- not work against it. Just look at the last days of Syquest. Rumors briefly circulated that Syquest was going to come out with a DVD drive, and the stock shot up 300%. Only one thing is keeping Iomega back from developing products that will actually help the stock price.

Arrogance.

Iomega Management's Arrogance is the main problem of all of their, and their investors woes. Iomega is Wall Street-famous for its arrogance. And it is this same arrogance that keeps Iomega from developing DVD-RW, CD-RW, or any other product that will win favor with the industry and with Wall Street.

Instead of a triumphant announcement about Iomega's new DVD drive, we learn that there is merely an upgraded Zip. Instead of Lisa Lionheart, we learn that Malibu Stacy merely got a new hat.
