This week got copy of redhat 5.2 on friday. First install went smoothly. Installed at home on a machine that had 5.1. I have /home on a different partition along with the following /etc files. exports hosts passwd resolv.conf After install I copied etc files over and soft linked /hda4/home to home and system worked find. Xfree86 detected mouse and video card correctly. Install seemed to go very smoothly. Took about 5 minutes. It still amazes me that the links to online documentation in the default load file file:/usr/doc/HTML/index.html are still all busted. They have been busted for a long time. redhat is kinda amatuer when it comes to software configuration management. Crap,,, I wonder what else is still busted.
