Gottfried, But we don't really know for sure what will happen. Who would have predicted AMAT at 38.

Fridays, IBD, had AMAT relative strength increasing to its high 89, the highest since the last up cycle in 1996. It looks to me that it will be punching into the 90's within the immediate future. In comparing with 1996 in looks like the relative strength of AMAT reached its low RS in June '98 at the 20's level. This low was two months earlier than in 1996 when it reach its RS low in August.

During 1996 it reached its RS high 90's in January and stayed there through May. The high Price was reached during August. IMO, we are in the upward move which should stay for the next 6 months.

It is an exciting time for those of us owning AMAT.

Naturally, AMAT on Tuesday will show us the way. However, I just do not see why the market for AMAT as shown by the RS would be so strong if it was not on the move.

Just my opinion.
