Go to your local book store, say Barnes & Nobel as they provide nice comfortable chairs, and read, read, read.

Books I've found helpful are:

Wade Cook's "The Wall Street Money Machine" - Don't buy into his scams but he does have some good ideas you can adapt for yourself.

Sunny Harris' "Trading 101" -Again don't buy into her selling services but she has some real good points you should read and understand.

For TA: Pistolese "Using Technical Analysis" is real good and as your in school you'll like the "read & test" method.

Also "Technical Analysis - a personal seminar" from New York Institute of Finance - Very similar to Pistolese book in metifore.

Another one I like and think has helped me the most is "Cyber Investing" by Brown & Bentley - This comes with software which includes 30 days FREE time on Telescan - But you'd have to buy it.

I'm sure others on here can recomend other good books....
