Are you saying that your omniscient (all-knowing) god can't know what the weather is going to do because it is random (unknowable)? Kind of a contradiction, don't you think?

You cite the Russian experiment (human intervention)where they failed to cause a beneficial mutation in bacteria, but say that antibiotic resistance, which is a beneficial mutation for them, is invalid because there was human intervention? Hmmm.

Now you declare that DNA cannot mutate? Wouldn't we all be clones of each other if DNA didn't mutate? Have you heard of sex, where 1/2 the DNA from each partner is donated to the offspring? Do you see no difference in Eskimos, Africans, Chinese, or Europeans? They have all developed facial and skin features to suit their environment.

Besides the expansion of the Universe there is radioactive decay, sea floor expansion, star formation and decay at known rates, and cooling rates of the planets among other things to corroborate the evidence for a 12+ billion year age for the Universe. What evidence do you have for a 6000 year old Earth?

Most of Hawking references to god were in response to Einstein's statement "god does not play dice". He is no mythologist as you are.
