Could you elaborate on this?
I am asking cause I don't understand the bad image NAI's software has. Every so many months someone stands up and tramples on the NAI software quality (Rod McPherson are you still there?) but what I see is that there is not one single vendor in NAIs market that offers something superior. If you break it down to the 4 core components and look at their main competition:
AV soft: symantec only remaining competition. Maybe they have something as good as NAI, but no way can you call it better.
fiewall: Checkpoint clear leader in marketshare, but the Gauntlet firewall has the reputation of being the most secure product.
network analysis: Sniffer. I rest my case.
helpdesk: Remedy still #1, but NAI has announced a new helpdesk called merlin that will --according to them-- redefine the market.

So from where comes the assumption that their software is so bad? Just curious.
