Most of Asa and Europe up today - no excuses for the S&P futures. Debate about possible recession but the UK government is taking the view that the UK economy is going to grow by at least 1.5% through next year with a return to above average growth in following years. Last week a leading and influential British economist/journalist writing in The Times, declared that the financial crisis was over the day the Fed lowered rates, and that international stock markets will resume normal growth.

Jack Frost returned to the UK today and laid a shroud over my car - but my Canadian specifications Lexus 400 took care of that in about three mintues. It was built to cope with Canadian lumberjack ice not namby pamby British poncy icing.

Now that bright white UK sunlight is making all the frosted cobwebs glitter. (Music off).
