Quite interesting. ….oh heck, probably won't amount to anything. Just something to spark some hope and then disappoint us. But what if….? GMR compatible? Hmmmmmm. I don't want to make something out of nothing but if this patent applies independently of the type of recording format perhaps it would also apply to CMR. Haven't checked the road map lately but CMR is supposed to be the next step after GMR. Keepering ahead of the curve instead of behind it? :) Gus, you out there?? Still hanging on, Sean
