Roopa Unnikrishnan is back from Oxford. That is where she rushed off to collect her degree after winning a shooting gold in the Commonwealth Games. Roopa stands & measures up to her name Roopa. Back in India recognition comes slow and very often late. Talent scouting, recognition and recruitment are very much lacking. You can hit them on the face or butt with talent to no avail. With M.Phil, MBA and gold in her pocket, Roopa is not shooting from the hip or mouth when she she sees lack of recognition and much apathy and boredom in her compatriots. JPR
