Myself and about 500 other people would be nursing some stock losses, the likes we never experienced before.

I guess everyone has a horror story about OTC-BB penny stocks and reverse splits, I had invested in one, that did some really flagrant fouls back last spring. Borderline criminal.

One post on SI... a call to arms to all the shareholders, yielded a crashed email system of at least 137 emails from angry shareholders, or 40% of the total ownership of the company. Which started a grass roots takeover campaign of that company, that snow balled into a hostile shareholder take over of the company. Which sent the bad guys packing and trying to figure out what happened to their dirty little plan.

None of this could have happened without SI, shareholders were once limited to not knowing who or how to communicate with each other, SI changed those rules, forever and for the better <IMO>

Fortunatly there is SI and its wide spread popularity with smart savvy investors, allowed to communicate. Love it or hate it, SI gives you the paper to write your message and you have the ink... how you use that ink is your choice.

So what would I be doing without SI? Probably getting a divorce, triggered by those stock losses that never happened <g>

Good investing to all
