BEA Signs 4 New Component Technology Consulting Firms To Meet Demand for Professional Services For BEA M3 Customers

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 16, 1998-- BEA Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: BEAS - news), a market leader in distributed mission-critical middleware solutions for the world's largest enterprises, today announced the expansion of the professional services offerings available for BEA M3™ component middleware customers by adding four additional consulting firms specializing in object technology to its Authorized Service Provider (ASP) program. With this announcement, BEA is enhancing the safe and evolutionary path it is providing to companies and business partners adopting object- and component-based technology.

The four new BEA ASP partners have worldwide delivery capabilities and include experts in the areas of object-oriented architecture and design, CORBA, Java development, telecommunications, and finance. The new partners are: International Centers for Telecommunication Technology, Inc.(ICTT), Object Integration; Softport Systems, Inc., and Velankani Information Systems (VIS). With this program, BEA is responding to its enterprise customer's needs for development, design, and implementation expertise in the area of object technology.
