<g>My NT installation was in the back seat for awhile but has since moved to the trunk:) I have a feeling I will be waiting for 5.0.<g>

LOL! Given the other tasks on my various lists, I suspect I'm in the same boat or trunk or whatever. <g>

I also suspect that I will be acquiring Partition Magic sometime (it also serves as a boot manager, correct?) but felt to truly appreciate PM I ought to muddle without it for a time anyway. And I am muddling! <g>

Your thoughts on partition use are appreciated, will probably incorporate when I devote more time & energy to a KOT/backup/mass-store strategy. For the short term, I'll just backup key data to an extended partition on the other HD.

I've got an unfilled secondary IDE slave position that I am (back of my mind priority) considering candidates for. Already have an Iomega parrellel ZIP that I make far too little use of: if I could put an entire partition on one unit of media perhaps I would actually do it more. (Yeah, right. <g>) The partition-to-1-unit criteria seems to also rule out the LS-120 in spite of how cheap they are. The ROM-ness of a CD-write drive is appealing. But so is the RW of some of the optical CD stuff. (Indecision may or may not be my problem.) Also, I believe the CDs total volume would mean multiple units to backup a full partition. I seem to be drifting toward a Jaz2 ... but I believe they are SCSI only. Hmmm. Well, talked myself out of it, again!

Cheers, Paul
