LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 16, 1998--This week at the COMDEX computer trade show, Palm Computing Inc., a 3Com company (Nasdaq:COMS), will demonstrate its world-leading products, the Palm III(tm) and PalmPilot(tm) Professional edition connected organizers, along with innovative Palm Computing(r) platform solutions from leading licensees and developers including IBM and Symbol Technologies. The Palm Computing Pavilion is in the Las Vegas Convention Center, North Hall, Booth L6040.
Platform licensees and third-party developers will demonstrate new solutions that expand the Palm Computing platform, adding functionality for consumer, business and enterprise applications. The newest solutions cover technology categories such as wireless messaging and Internet browsing, voice recognition, one- and two-way paging, infrared data synchronization, barcode scanning, access to enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, database access, business card scanning and personal finance.
