On the date of the $3mm transaction, SONE was not a $300mm company. It was a $150mm company. In fact, SONE is currently not a $300mm dollar company, more like $180mm.

Further, SONE does not carry the influence that MSFT or INTC carry, and to think that SONE could influence its partners like MSFT or INTC influence (read: stiff arm) their partners is (IMHO) overestimating SONE's market strength.

FYI, I don't think that SONE is a consolidator. I just don't want them to become like one by making their returns dependent on others' returns.
