Coby, I actually think Epstein went out of his way to make it look like Krugman was not a complete monster. He talked about his good humor and how he was willing to at least consider other ideas. The problem is, we get these flavor-of-the-month enfant terribles all the time in economics and they are always flashes in the pan. When is the last time you saw a Laffer Curve. <G>
