I'll have to keep a closer eye on tskman totals. It has always seemed to me like the total commit limit has been the sum of swapfile and real physical mem.

Thanks again, Spots. You've certainly done a bang-up job on these questions. I didn't realize that keeping track of mem allocation was as complex as it appears.
