Nevada; a couple of thoughts

This is a development stage co. with new technology and alot of what is happening right now timing wise is out of their control. Remember, it wasn't untill last NOV. that the industry first settled on an open architecture for cable boxes. That is when the consortium of cable co's gave big orders to GIC and SA for their next generation of digital cable boxes. GIC on their last earnings conf. call last week indicated they were about a month ahead of schedule. The first boxes are going to Insight Cable in DEC for a planned Jan rollout. Until boxes are actually deployed in the field AND the cable co's finish their marketing plans for digital service and internet service SRCM is powerless to announce further rollout plans. The MONOPOLISTIC cable co's will not let anything get announced until THEY ARE SURE THE NEW BOXES ARE IN AND WORKING BEFORE THEY ANNOUNCE SPECIFIC PARTNERS AND ROLLOUT PLANS. This should be just around the corner.

It more than bothered me too, it actually really pissed me off as I felt the appearence wouldn't look good and it didn't. While I don't agree with what happened and I let the co. know about it, I'm satisfied with the explanation. If you have been reviewing the past posts I'm sure you have seen the attempt to destroy this co, it's reputation, and it's mgmt. and their reputations. The call was open to ANALYSTS only for questions, I know because I'm not one and I had some questions I wanted to ask. However, the co. will answer ANY questions you might have just call them.Ask for CEO Tim Peters. I believe the co. did not want to give a forum for those who have been spreading maliscous bs about them. The next few months are going to be very exiting and the co. will let it's announcements speak for themselves. The point is anyone could call the co. and get info. Just because some shorts{stevie pluvia] don't take advantage of this[??] is their problem. Some DD,,they don't even call the co.

Unlike the "shorts" I'm not absolutely sure I'm right. There are some very good points the shorts have made but my DD on those points still leaves me very comfortable being long. Again, the financials are a problem and they most definitely have to sign deals in 99 or do another financing. I agree without more deals financing will be very tough but on the other hand if they do sign more deals financing might not only not be needed but IF they do sign more deals and still need money it shouldn't be difficult to get.

Well I'm not from Vegas though I have over the years TEMPORARILY made some deposits with the banks there[ Ceasers, Mirage, Hard Rock, and I'll be opening one up soon with Bellagio!!!!]. I will be at the cable show in Anaheim and I will be easy to find as I will be at the GIC and SA booths to gauge the action for myself. That should put an end to some of the bs thrown around here.
keep an open mind and your wallet ready because IF this is real, I don't think we're talking about a 5 or 10 pt move but much more.
I welcome any more analysis from you and i will try to answer any questions you might have. I have a good understanding of their tech. but I am not an expert. I am an investor and while I won't be obnoxious enough to say I'm an expert, I have done very well. This is still a very speculative stock but I feel the upside potential dwarfs the downside.
