Shares opened at 71, well above Friday's closing price of 63-1/2, and moved slightly higher, trading as high as 72-1/2. But as the session wore on, Wall Street's love affair with new cyber offerings cooled. The stock was down 15 to 48-1/2 in early afternoon trading, shedding 23 percent and making the theglobe.com among the Nasdaq's worst daily performers. It was one of the most heavily traded stocks on the Nasdaq stock market. ____________________________________________________________________ Seems to me that almost everybody who got in post-IPO price lost money.
