ULTR 3Q98 earbings reported as a loss of $0.10, but the company's release is very upbeat for '99 and holds out the possibility (although "unsure") that 4Q98 profits could offset the current '98 loss of $0.27. i'm surprised that ULTR moved up in connection with this release. i guess the worst is now behind us. 4Q98 will undoubtedly result in at least some profits, and things should improve from there. ULTR has reached an agreement with Talon to acquire a 51% stake at a "total" price of $1.4 million (i take it that includes the approximately $300,000 ULTR has already paid). this seems like a good price, and may be the reason ULTR has moved up, instead of down, on the news of the 3Q98 loss.
