Dave, i'm a regular reader of this thread(thanks to all who provide excellent input) and your last post indirectly addressed a problem that i have been unable to resolve. I'm using NT 4.0 sp3 on a 166mmx with 96 meg sdram and NS 4.5 as a browser. when accessing rt quotes via stockwatch NS "freezes" if I open more than two screens of realtime quotes as well as several non java screens. I have installed the Java "patch" available for NT. I would like to be able to run up to 4 quote screens if possibl. Any thoughts you could share to shed some light on this problem would be most appreciated. thanks in advance mike
