Penni, do you see an odd logic at work here? If every action is self-serving, then altruism has been defined out of existence. There is then no difference between an altruistic action and a selfish action; so why do Johnny and Ayn rant on against altruism if it is in fact merely a form of selfishness, which they claim to be a virtue?
