Spaw,

Lot's of heavy selling today. There must have been one large seller that wanted out badly. I had my order in to buy for the last hour at $8 11/16. At 3:06:59 a 36,300 share 'sell' block passed at $8 11/16 (the low for the day too). My order was never taken as it was for a buy.

What do you make of this? It could not have been a stop loss order especially at that size. Typically, the low of the day will result in several small stop loss orders taken out by the MM then they run the stock back up. I get the feeling that there is still a lot of stock for sale and we may indeed see $8 1/2 or lower until these large sell orders are re-distributed at lower levels.

Do you think ALA is the seller. They acquired DSC. As you probably know AFCI paid DSC $10.1 million in cash and 1,451,574 shares of AFCI in 7/96 as a litigation settlement. If ALA is a seller, then it may take some time to absorb those shares.
