What disturbs me the most are the people that seem to enjoy watching their fellow investor lose money. Completely agree. I think such people are either simply petty, or they think they can affect the market with their posts. Bre-X was in a whole other league; false assays, massive insider dumping, very possibly a murder (of the chief metalurgist who allegedly "jumped" from a helicopter over the rain forest). That was a nasty story. AVCO was just an over-reaction to a harmless press release.
