Kaiser says finally, some good news from Alberta

Ashton Mining of Canada Inc ACA
Shares issued 29,169,790 Nov 13 close $1.99
Mon 16 Nov 98 In the News
John Kaiser, writing in a Nov. 12, 1998 Kaiser Express, says the Alberta
diamond play will soon return to its status as a topic of speculative
interest. Mr. Kaiser says flagship ADP companies as Ashton Mining of Canada
($2.24 at the time of writing), Montello Resources Ltd. (43 cents), and New
Claymore Resources Ltd. (78 cents), have seen accumulation activity in the
past few days. The California-based letter writer says the upcoming K-14
bulk sample will be key to trends in the short term. Even if grade and
values of the parcel fails to clearly indicate an economic potential for
K-14 itself, Mr. Kaiser says the existence of large, high-quality stones
"would be proof that the Buffalo Head terrane is underlain by a fertile
diamond stability field." Mr. Kaiser expects the 450-ton bulk sample now
being processed will yield between 100 and 200 carats. That is based on
previous results from K-14a, which yielded 31 carats per ton. Mr. Kaiser
also notes Ashton has more than doubled from its low of 95 cents reached on
Aug. 10 and 11.
