GWRX.

Sue,

Like Ron said, a lot of the move in GWRX was caused by momentum traders jumping on it (like Ron lol). However, the company demonstrated a new product at Comdex today that was probably the catalyst for the move. In addition, GWRX has been beaten up significantly in the past few months, falling from a 52 week high of 15 to less than a dollar not too long ago. It's so beaten up that I guess any good news got it going.

A copy of the article follows.

Alameda, California, Nov. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Geoworks Corp. shares more than doubled after it unveiled new software to enhance cellular phones at Comdex, the big Las Vegas electronics convention.

The Alameda, California-based software maker's shares rose 3 5/8 to 5 11/16 in trading 8.6 million shares, more than 108 times its three-month average. Earlier, shares touched 7. Its market capitalization jumped to $91.4 million from $33.1 million.

Geoworks today unveiled Premion Interface+, software that allows manufacturers and users to customize cell phone display screens with graphics and icons, making the transmission of email and other data more user friendly.

''This is similar to when Windows took over from DOS in personal computers,'' said Geoworks spokesman Bob Bogard. ''You're moving from all text on the display screen to graphics.''

Geoworks, with 1998 revenue of $12.92 million, makes operating systems and software for the wireless communication industry.

PS to Ron: We missed you on IRC today and hope you make it back soon.
