Dear Dr. Proficient, I'm disappointed that you didn't make your way over to the Morons thread, where I posted a number of questions to you with regard to your training and "educational credentials" as you call them. I apologize to the other members of this thread for intruding tonight, but I feel I must, as I have frankly been horrified by this poster's behavior with regard to his professed training. If he or she has truly received even the most rudimentary training (postgraduate) in any of the helping professions, he or she is bound by ethical standards to NOT diagnose people over the internet, nor make insinuations about their mental health in this forum. I have asked this poster to list his or her training, since it is the basis for much of his or her remarks. And now I'll address you directly, "Dr. P": I do not believe your claims to have any training in psychology or psychiatry. If I'm incorrect, please tell us all what degrees you've earned and the schools you've attended. Be sure that I'll check on them. If you do have postgraduate training in psychiatry or psychology, I will forward your posts to the appropriate professional organizations. If you do not, please stop this behavior immediately. You see, I have an interest in this. I have postgraduate degrees in clinical psychology and know that your statements about Mr. Goldfinger are reprehensible and most likely in violation of the ethics codes for both APA's. I've now made it my business to follow your posts, as have Len and others. It's time to clean up your act.
