My 3 year target for TDFX is $80. During this time I will be monitoring TDFX at least every 4 months, but more likely more frequently. I am long 6000 share right now but that is not quite by choice. This morning I asked to sell some Nov. 15 calls which had my order not been messed up, that would technically make me out of the stock. This decision is purely personal. I usually sell after a widely anticipated news and jump back in on a pull back. Since the order fell trough due to my broker's error, tomorrow I have a choice to force the sale if stock falls, or reconsider it if it moves higher. Sometimes having a bozo for a broker is a blessing <g> Note however that I am not "dumping" my shares. It is just that I am doing much better with VISX, but I'm out of money there. TDFX will remain a core holding of mine for the foreseeable future. Please read my posts on the Art of Investing threads about how and when to buy or sell. As I've pointed out there, what works for one person may not work for another. For example, I am short a stock, and a friend of mine is long the same stock and we are *both* making money on the stock <G> This is something that should be pondered upon. BTW, VISX went up $5 today. IT is now at $64 which was my original target as stated last week. My average cost for my 5500 shares there is $45.5. VISX and a few other stocks will be consuming a good chunk of my time over the next few weeks. So I will be less active here than I usually am.
