Trust me, plenty of us perused the entire collection of S-1, S-1A filings before committing to purchasing shares for the pre-market offering price of $8 to $10 per share. In addition, most of my colleagues spent some time discussing with Bear Stearns and the two assisting underwriters as well as TGLO's management prior to making any commitment. It's truly ironic, though, that many of us who participated in TGLO IPO for $9 a share pre-market, when the risk was apparently very limited, spent far more time researching the company and its underwriters than most of the small retail buyers who were paying as much as $97 a share on Friday, when the downside risk had risen at least ten-fold.
