Given the higher than usual volume today, it is likely some already know that the results for this Q are worse than many originally believed. I would not be surprised to see sales in the upper 30s to low 40s million, with a loss big enough to ensure a deficit for all of 1999. Book to bill will likely indicate future weaknesses for several Qs.
Conference call will be interesting to see how they can claim their advertising campaign was a success, given decline in sales. The image portrayed on TV was idiots using VC. Their advertising should present image that smart people use VC, not idiots.
But then again, look who is running VTEL.
