Demonstrations are not limited to K.L. however, all of those outside of the city appear to be pretty peacfull. I haven't heard of anything resembling the stuff going on here. If your buddy is married to a Malay Chinese I wouldn't expect him to have any trouble. Most of the trouble has been 'within' the Malay community specifically centered at the Mosques. I have heard Nothing about Ipoh specifically. If he has concerns about Ipoh, Stitch's wife is from there I believe and could shed additional lite. rgds bt
