Ted:

Woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't fall back to sleep....

Regarding your comment:

"My software evaluations are intended to provide information to interested parties regarding the technical viability of tools, the useability [sic] of those tools, and whether they are applicable to the solution of specific problems. "

Some questions about your evaluations:

1). Do you rank the competing products based on the criteria you have just noted?

2). Have you compiled a list (or post) of evaluations to which you could refer me?

3). If such a compilation exists and it is comparative, do you break down your the competing y2k products into categories ie. by type and version (eg. per OS, Network programs, testers/fixers with software scanning, et cetera), and do you also determine which single product is the most comprehensive in its ability to a range of problems and system configurations plus easiest to use?

My questions are partly based on my review of the following link, which I think you may find interesting if you haven't already viewed it. The site to which this link refers is a "y2k PC comparison tools" site.

sawkins.com

I have only viewed what was available on the site. I did not obtain a copy of the full report yet because I lost my wallet, I cancelled all my credit cards, and I'm currently waiting for new credit cards.

I have also emailed this website asking them to review PINC's product.

Well, anyway...back to sleep.
