Eric,

I echo your thoughts and would also like to see the end of the "split" discussion on this thread. Lets face it, no amount of sentiment, either pro or con a split, will change the way Intel makes its decisions.

As a long-term Intel investor (7 years and looking forward to another 50), I don't think it makes a bit difference what price Intel is traded at. In fact, I hope the stock price will be at a level so that it posts a "barrier" for the shorts and in-and-out traders to milk out the cream at the expense of investors.
