Does anyone know.... Kevin.
"...how todays Iomega/Liquid Audio announcement will affect WAVXs desire/ability to handle encrypted music delivery?"
The enhancements of our technology could make the systems of IOM/Liquid Audio's and others marketing music (and what about those music videos?) over the Net far more sophisticated. Music/video content providers are not competing with WAVX. However, the vendors that can offer a metering technology that allows for free sampling, several pricing options, micropayments, localized transactions.. Not to mention... but hey! I will.. superior security, greater cost effectiveness for the back-end systems of the vendors, publishing capabilities for everyone - not just the moguls of the music industry, and the convenience of logging of all our transactions on our desktops.. whew!.. well, is going to have a little leg up to tiddle on the top of their competitions heads. I should hope that Liquid Audio is cutting a deal with WAVX at COMDEX to stay viable at least. If not, someone else will.
Also,
WAVE SYSTEMS CORP has filed a Form NT 10-Q with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.
