OK, guys, I went out and watched the Leonid shower last night because I was up at 4:30 a.m. anyway, and the sky was clear. Watched from my driveway for a while, saw a few, finally convinced myself to drive all the way to Sky Meadows, got there maybe 5:30. First one I saw when I got out of the car was green, turned to purple. That was the second time in my life I saw that. First time I saw it, I didn't know what it was. Now I do. The rest of them were silver, some small, some huge, more than one a minute. All over the sky. So, it's worth it.
If you live west of me, why are you reading this? Go outside. Look up. I was still seeing them at false dawn (didn't want to drive until it was light, there were other people watching along the roadside).
Message ends.
