Todd, fundamentally speaking, your question is being technically addressed right now as I write this. EXCELLENT question, EXCELLENT answer by the market technically. Do you mean filling the gap up from the open in the afternoon? That kind of retracement doesn't surprise me and doesn't concern me. What does concern me are the gaps much lower in the stock price from further back in time which a lot of technicians believe WILL be filled. I've seen old, old gaps filled and believe there may be some merit to the technical indicator, but I certainly won't act on it unless I understand what makes it work. Right now, I just don't get it.
