Jean, I thought about this. When I purchased the phone
they said that there was a software update due in
a couple of weeks. I also consider some other
possiblities, the most likely being that many people
actually were talking. Many people I've talked with
about cellular service in Houston are probably
40 to 50 % dissatisfied. PrimeCo has been heavily
promoting this service for over a month now. The
particular area where I expierenced this circuit busy
was a dense traffic area. It also could have been
the PABX that I was calling, as they have only
so many DID/DOD circuits for 350 person office.
That time of day can be high demand on those
circuits. I didn't think to try another number
to see if it was PCS site or other. One thing is for sure,
Cellular in that area would just give a fast busy
and that can go on for some time. Again I choose that
area because of the known/past dense cellular traffic.
