"We have since learned that Vapor! will not ship until "1st Quarter 1999.""

Sorry, Elaine, you forgot to read the first portion of the sentence (all but the last four words). From Business Wire:

"Iomega's Clik! Mobile Drives are expected to be available in the U.S. in late fourth quarter of 1998 or first quarter of 1999."

I know that your calendar is slightly different from the real world's, but please try to go by Julian dates, so the rest of us can understand you.

BTW, when you extrapolate, I do not call you a liar, so when someone else extrapolates, please extend him/her the same courtesy. to wit:

"Vapor will be here this week" is obviously a "forward-looking statement." With all your financial prowess, you should have recognized that right off.

and "Vapor! is in Ingram's inventory" was actually )paraphrasing because I don't remember the exact phrasing) "Clik! now has Ingram SKU numbers!" which could well be a verifiable fact, but neither you nor I have access to that data.

And what's all this about the Southeastern Conference wanting to know about Iomega? Utah isn't even in the SEC, nor Utah State nor Brigham Young. What would they care?

Cameron
