AOL invested in Healthaxis! According to the 10Q filing, the preferred stock purchased recently -- and disclosed in the press release yesterday -- was bought by AOL. The release seems to indicate that the investment came from the l.ynx group, but the 10 Q specifically breaks out the fact that the lynx group bought the pamc common and AOL bought the healthaxis.com preferred. (I can only assume that AOL did not want their name in the press release (?).) I see this as good news. AOL has upped its committment to Healthaxis.com. That is a big plus for the company, as AOL has the major portal onto the web.
