I disagree. I own royalty interests in some of Tesoro's properties and they do not seem to be competent from a business perspective. They have allowed valuable leases to expire and have let their competition acquire the position and gain a foothold in their prospect. They are now in litigation to try to deal with the situation. They may be finding reserves, but are then handing them over to third parties. I just received a letter from Tesoro suggesting that leases be dropped even though Texaco is drilling a deep well within a mile of the lease block!!!!
