Would a player like that be able to read ahead and fill the buffer while it plays. I know I have been impatient with my portable CD player when I have to wait a few seconds for it to retrieve the number of tracks. But I can see where the entire disk buffer has its advantages. I know we had discussed the Sony MD a year or two ago, but I seem to have forgotten why they never pushed that as a data storage device. Would the drives be too expensive (like other MO drives) or was Sony possibly worried about pirating problems? Later Chucky
