The big picture... What you say is true, Savant. But it was just one of the reasons. I think that is the best possible spin you can put on the story without doing violence to reality. But loss of subcriber base and currency exchange losses are big deals. If VIP can't maintain its base of upper class subscribers, then it has no hope of expanding that base to customers of mroe modest means. I believe Zimkin was aiming for that population per his comments on CNBS in middle August. Now he seems to be fighting to keep the best paying customers. Aren't their better places to put money? As an aside, do you have any idea why I can't find reliable quotes for Lukoil (LUKOY?) Yahoo! doesn't even recognize the ticker symbol! This stock used to be in 3 digits. At least people pay American $$ for oil. I'd appreciate your help in this if you could. DocStone
