Ken,
I've been reading the articles too. Kind of scary when the government gets involved. AT&T is planning on spending, literally billions of dollars and it's unbelievable that some want a free ride on their network. Well, not exactly a free ride, but a regulated one. It is so incredibly obvious that using the HFC network is very good for the consumer and will help make the internet as common as the TV. Yet I would not put it past the FCC to screw up the deal. I'm very concerned about this. I just hope they don't do anything stupid to set the merger back. The FCC wants competition in the local loop, by killing this deal they shoot themselves in the foot. But that's nothing new to our government.
