I wouldn't necessarily get nervous. I went to the website Dennis posted (Li polymer is indeed listed as "NEW"), got a phone number, and called TDI-HET (which is a subsidiary of Thomas & Betts). The division that is claiming they have polymer available is called High Energy Technology. They said they have a 350mAh cell and a 900 mAh cell. I am waiting to hear back from a marketing type who can send some more info on paper.

If these guys are distributors, then they are probably importing the cells, not making them. And I seem to recall that there was a SE Asian company, Shubilla, I think, in maylaysia, that claims to be making cells already. So maybe HET is getting some product from this Asian mfr.?
