My response to your idea about burning money was too bent on being humerous. But giving it second thought, it may have merit in the context of a discussion we have been having on the Asia Forum. That discussion centers on the problems with kick starting Japan's economy. What we agreed was that a tax break would not help. It just would not spur any additional spending. Folks there are too wary to do anything other then sock it away. I am going to link your post to that thread. Should kick up some comments. :)
